Top foreign film #11 is Volver (2006). This is a movie by the wacky, zany, and wonderful Pedro Almodovar. Penelope Cruz stars as the main character. Definitely my favorite of her career! This movie has some very moving scenes along with hilarious dialogue and scenarios. The supporting roles are done really well, especially Lola Duenas. The plot is not for those who like really concrete story lines, but it most definitely is a good time. Plus for guys, Penelope Cruz is gorgeous as always. Almodovar is obsessed with her. hah.
